Paint Removal
Firstly, we identify the type of paint which is to be removed whether that being (latex, oil based, etc. as different paints respond to different removal methods.
We also must take into consideration the type of brick or stone (porous, dense, delicate) which influences the cleaning technique we may choose. The two main paint removal methods we use are the DOFF system which uses steam to melt and lift the paint, especially water-based paints. This method is usually preferred for more delicate surfaces.
If this isn’t effective, we would use our TORC system which is a wet blasting system that is highly tuneable. The pressure can be adjusted and we run different grades of media the system depending on how aggressive or delicate we need to be.
