Efflorescence Removal
Efflorescence is the surface build-up of water-soluble salts that can be present in the mortar and fabric of your building. When your building fabric becomes saturated these salts can migrate to the surface and show as an unsightly flaky powder.
The correct method of treatment involves using a neutralising solution and a mild acid to remove the salts, then removal of any residues with the DOFF steam cleaning system.
1. Prep the work area
- Protect all windows and doors using a protective film
2. Clean the surfaces
- Pre-wet the area and apply the cleaning solution
3.Remove Pollution
- After the correct dwell time, remove pollution with DOFF steam cleaning system
