Preserving a 200-year-old home
Our team had the privilege of carrying out exterior cleaning at a magnificent 200-year-old property on the outskirts of Leeds. Set amongst beautifully landscaped gardens with sweeping countryside views, this project was as rewarding as it was challenging; a true opportunity to combine our technical experience with a deep respect for local heritage.
This property dates back to the early 19th century, with the intricate stone details and stunning red brick façades, it stands as a proud reminder of Yorkshire’s architectural history. Over the years, exposure to the weather and surrounding greenery has led to a natural build-up of dirt, algae and carbon. Using low-pressure, non-abrasive methods, our team of operatives carefully removed years of accumulated stains without causing damage to any delicate surfaces. Throughout the process, we were mindful of the property’s age and craftsmanship, and ensured every feature - from the chimneys, windows and roof to the balustrades on the patio - were treated with the utmost care.
